UH Sculpture Trail

For this project I was tasked to design a brand for a series of sculptures on the campus of the university I attend, University of Hertfordshire. After looking at all the sculptures on the campus, one sculpture stood out to me called mountain shards. To describe the sculpture, it was reflective metal panels in the shape of shards surrounded by trees which I made me think that it looked out of place and there was no clear understanding what the sculpture was meant to represent.

For the main graphical element of this brand, I made a collage of all the sculptures and then distorted by using a photo copier which gave a mysterious effect. I also extracted colours from the distorted collage and implemented them into the brand colour scheme. I also used the distorted shape as an ornament for the logo.
