Skaters Zine

For this project I was put into a group and our task was to create a zine that would be related to a particular subculture. As a group we collectively choose the subculture of skaters as for what our zine would be about. Another task we had for this project was to design our own typeface for the magazine. We did this by modifying Helvetica to look grittier and grungier by making it spikier and taking chunks out of the letters.

Individually we had our own topics for what our spreads would be about, mine being music and bands related to the skating subculture.
