Disruption Scarf

For this brief I was tasked with designing a scarf for a Scottish music festival that needed to represent “disruption”. Through brainstorming and visual experiments, I came up with the concept earth quakes and geography.
​
The final artwork was accomplished by distorting a collage of different shapes and colours with a photocopier. Then I overlayed a topographic map lines and grids to give it appearance of a map. Finally, I adjusted the colour levels and saturation to add a chaotic and vibrant look.
